Therapy for Adults Ready to Break Unhealthy Patterns, Set Boundaries, and Reclaim Themselves

At Evolving Minds Therapy, I specialize in helping individuals move through some of the most emotionally overwhelming seasons of life — especially when it comes to relationships, burnout, and rediscovering who you are.

If you’re navigating a breakup, struggling to set boundaries without guilt, or feeling drained from always being the strong one, therapy can help you slow down, process what’s been heavy, and begin making changes that actually last.

Together, we’ll work to untangle the patterns that have been keeping you stuck so you can move forward with more clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of self.

Individual Therapy

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns that keep repeating, individual therapy can help you slow down and begin making sense of what you’re carrying.

Together, we’ll work to process what’s been weighing on you, build healthier boundaries, and reconnect with who you are outside of the roles you’ve had to play for others.

You don’t have to keep navigating this alone.

How I Practice

Therapy should be more than just talking about what happened. It should help you understand yourself, recognize the patterns keeping you stuck, and develop practical ways to respond differently.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I believe understanding why you respond the way you do can be just as important as learning what to do differently.

Together, we may explore the thoughts, emotions, experiences, relationship patterns, and behaviors influencing how you currently move through life. From there, we'll work toward helping you develop greater awareness, healthier coping strategies, stronger boundaries, and choices that align with the life you want to create.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Learn how to make room for difficult thoughts and emotions without allowing them to control your decisions. ACT helps you identify what matters most to you and take meaningful steps toward living in alignment with your values.

Faith-Integrated Therapy

For clients who desire it, faith and spirituality can be incorporated into therapy in a way that honors your beliefs and values. Faith integration is always optional and guided by your preferences.

Mindfulness & Self-Compassion

Mindfulness helps you notice thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations without immediately reacting to them. Combined with self-compassion, it can help reduce harsh self-judgment and create space for more intentional responses to stress and emotional overwhelm.

TRAUMA-FOCUSED APPROACHES

Lifespan Integration — Level One Trained

Lifespan Integration is a trauma-informed approach that uses a timeline of memories and imagery to help the brain connect past experiences with the present. This approach can support clients in recognizing that painful experiences happened in the past while strengthening a greater sense of safety and continuity in the present.

Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE)

Prolonged Exposure is an evidence-based treatment for PTSD and trauma-related symptoms. Through a structured and collaborative process, PE helps you gradually approach trauma-related memories, emotions, and situations you may have been avoiding so they have less power over your daily life.
